Saw other museums and churches, and then took a taxi to the Parador. We had a gourmet lunch (lunch without alcohol came to about $100!), and were treated to a fabulous view of Toledo.
Taxi back to Museum of Santa Cruz where we saw colorful pottery and tiles from 17th and 18th centuries. Walked to a central plaza where we sat and people-watched and David had a cerveza (beer). Then back to the hotel.

Hey Margo and Dave-I don't know what I'm doing with this blog comment stuff, but I hope what I'm doing is right! Your trip so far sounds very adventurous and exciting! Too bad you had hot weather at first and a small car. Your driving adventure having to turn around on a narrow road sounds scary. Hope you are enjoying the food. I'm glad you did a blog so we can all keep up with your trip! Jean
WOW! I can't believe I missed the balancing of the beer on the head that must have been really special. I have never been to Toledo, Melissa has and now we will have to go this sounds wonderful. Thanks, and keep the updates rolling!
